ALUK Aluminium Window Installation & Cortizo Bi-folds

This client contacted us with a query regarding needing some of their windows and doors replaced within their Surrey home. We installed ALUK aluminium windows & Cortizo bi-folds across the property, opening their home up to more natural light. Installing aluminium windows into our clients’ home ensures their home is kept weatherproof for longer and thermally efficient.

As shown in the images within this case study, we installed ALUK aluminium windows across our clients home, and Cortizo bifold doors into the back of their home.

ALUK aluminium windows are perfect for busy households. Aluminium frames are incredibly weatherproof, as not only are they more durable to adverse weather conditions than other window materials that may struggle to keep your home safe, but they also will not rot, warp or twist when exposed to water damage, which is crucial when ensuring the longevity of your windows.

Cortizo bifold doors are a great addition to homes looking to invite the outside in. With the option of up to 14 glass panels, which can open inwards or outwards, and the option of dual colour systems depending on the property’s aesthetic, Cortizo bifold doors can be customised to your family and your home’s needs. This style of bifold doors can be used across a range of house sizes, and the bottom runner frame can be embedded into the floor for additional accessibility and to avoid your hands and feet getting caught in the door runner.

Window with privacy glazing

In this property, we installed a range of sizes and styles of aluminium windows, which were perfect for bringing in an abundance of natural light. We also fitted one window with privacy glazing, which is ideal for lower-level windows in bathrooms, which would need more privacy. The bi-fold doors opened up the space onto the patio, allowing for a seamless flow through the house into the rear garden and seating space.

We wanted to keep the modern aesthetic of the home, which aluminium frames allow for, as they provide a modern look with modern functionality. This frame was matched across the property, including on the Cortizo bifold doors, providing a matching theme across the house. We also offer a slimline frame within our aluminium window range, which is excellent for getting a broader external perspective without bulky frames getting in the way.

This customer was also concerned about the durability of their home and wanted to ensure that the upgrade options they chose were thermally secure and energy efficient, as well as making their home safe from outside forces such as intruders. Aluminium is an excellent material for durability as it does not weather in damp conditions, and will not split or rot when exposed to water. It also cannot absorb water, therefore it will not cause damp within the home, which may happen with traditional wooden frames.

Our aluminium window range is fitted with glazing that traps air pockets of hot air, which is why our aluminium windows can provide an impressive level of thermal efficiency. Our aluminium windows are also resilient to force, therefore ensuring that your home is safe from intruders.
